Day Centre Assistant

Chesalon Day Centre is a happy social centre for the frail aged and people living with dementia.  Clients come from their homes for a pleasant day out, thus giving their carers much-needed respite.

We try to send the clients home each day with smiles on their faces and feeling very much loved - by us and by God.

Volunteers are an integral part of these programs, and we value hugely their contribution.  duties include welcoming clients, helping with morning tea and lunch, one-to-one relationships with clients, assisting with activites. If you have art / music / reading or other skills, we can use them!
