Driver - Light Rigid Licence

If you have an LR (Light Rigid) drivers licence, please talk to us!

 

ANGLICARE’s vision is Lives Changing and Communities Growing by Care through Jesus Christ.

 

Many ANGLICARE clients are only able to access our care because a bus (normally 12–seater) transports them to and from our programs.

 

We would like to recruit volunteers who hold LR licences, and would like to volunteer their time in this valuable service.  No heavy lifting is required – just a cheery greeting, a desire to help your community, and a good driving record!

 

Where?

Many areas of Sydney, but particularly Liverpool, Richmond, Northern Beaches, Mount Druitt, Jannali, Parramatta, Wollongong.

 

When?

Generally first thing in the morning for a couple of hours, and/or later in the afternoon for a couple of hours – whichever suits you.

 

What skills do you need?

Experience in driving a bus; a warm, welcoming personality; ability to commit to a schedule; a clean driving record.
