Emergency Relief Penrith

Care to volunteer?

 

We are opening a new Emergency Relief program in Penrith to support people in the community who are in crisis.  Like other similar ANGLICARE programs, its operation will rely on a committed volunteer team. 

 

Emergency Relief volunteers will be trained in assessing the needs of people who request assistance when they are in a crisis, to help them with bills and food vouchers, or to refer them to further avenues of help.

 

If you…

 

ð       Have experience in welfare/ counselling/ interviewing

ð       Have a heart for people experiencing personal / financial crisis

ð       Can get to Penrith one day a week
